Whoa great to see you and Agent back again. It's been quite some time.
We've just been throwing some story ideas around, mainly for our own amusement. Reimagining a couple different ideas, wish I had more to show for it.
Happy to discuss them sometime. What's up with you man?

Wow, I never expected to see you here, but I have to say I'm excited that you are.
There is so much info and world building me and D4 have been working on but I strongly suspect a lot of things are going to change now.
If you're interest we can start working on ways to incorporate characters you may have ideas for into everything going on, obviously me and D4 have just been filling everything with our characters because we were the only ones dedicated to this idea, but we had mentioned several times how nice it would be have other creative influences.
I have tons of details about history, characters, worlds, artifacts gods, etc. a lot of it based on old multiverse ideas as a lot of this has been multiverse reincarnated themes
One of the main villains is Nightmare's niece, Eris Treped's daughter: Asuna, she's obsessed with Nightmare himself, whom in this setting is almost exclusively referred to as Es'Kailieon. No one knows where Nightmare is and he has hasn't been seen for countless ages, most hardly believe him to be real anymore, save for the few who do in fact know that he is. Asuna believes herself to be his reincarnation manifest and is fanatically driven to fulfill his destiny, she also shares in his reality manipulation powers, which when she was younger was part of what got her in trouble with the celestial archangels and she got imprisoned for trying to steal a powerful artifact called The Prime Stone. That event took place some 13,000 years ago, leaving her father Harun Malik in the devastation of his decision to betray her and got her locked away, he has since dedicated himself to righting his wrong and setting her free.
Our theme for the main story take off is from the point of Aaru, which was the first world we designed based on 4 main factions, the beastmen empire, the Ordo Imperium, the hive dominion and the eastern kingdoms, while other factions do exist on Aaru those are the main factions among the mortal populations, while there is also a large pantheon of celestial gods but they more so stay out of the affairs of the nations of the world.
Obviously we've grown up a lot since the old days, in this setting we're moving forward with more dynamic and emotionally compelling stories, it's less about smashing powers into each other and more about characters relationships and what makes the best stories, obviously we have a huge cast of characters and that is by design so our story can have a lot of moving parts, begin complex and also.. allow for character death. One of the philosophies I use a lot for character direction now is if a character hasn't suffered they aren't a real character yet, some of character storylines are directed by the most intense heartfelt suffering and having to make hard decisions and live with those choices.

I'd definitely be interested in sharing ideas and building new characters to fit into this setting for sure. However, since I'm a guy with a full life, it may be slow going for me. Being married with a little babe takes up my time and my ideas in many ways. I have several ideas of course that I'd like to share with you guys. I see that Nightmare is kind of a legend/myth in this setting, which is an interesting idea. If you read about the Triad of powers of the Multiverse that I posted a few days ago, you will see Nightmare consumed OMEGAN and became one entity, thereby (in a way) resetting the Multiverse. This could of caused a multitude of events to ripple in the Multiverse. Anyways, it's good to be back on the old drawing board sort to speak, to get the ideas churning. It helps to get those ideas realized when you have other like-minded individuals to share with.

Also, I do have a character in mind for this setting, but not sure if his species exists on any of the worlds. He is a Saurian, which is simply put, an advanced dromaeosaurid sapient with an affinity for force-like powers, and a very cosmopolitan society.

I do recall the Saurians as being civilized and orderly so we can potentially fit them into the Ordo Imperium as a race. Feel free to discuss this in the plotting thread I just started.
And no worries about time constraints. We all lead busy lives, that definitely comes first.

Let's see if I can organize my thoughts and address everything.
Okay so how this relates to Multiverse, we wanted everything we had to matter and build on it without it just being Multiverse again or Multiverse 2.0 or what have you, at first we had no real connection to Multiverse but overtime that laxed and we started going with Multiverse characters reborn here in this new setting, so the Multiverse became and legends before time, another existence, tales that never were and yet some how were.
So we moved a lot of the old Multiverse characters and things into fables and myth, some are here, who they were but some how disconnected from that, like the Multiverse was just a dream of another incarnation, and a little of that nostalgic crossover ambience is used for certain characters and moments to make them feel extra special, like reveries, the hidden layers.
But anyway it gets a little more sorted when it comes to Omgean because I actually have a fairly complex story in this setting that involves him and I'm pretty sure it could be adapted easily to fit with your idea. Obviously in the end of the old Multiverse Omegan was defeated but we never really talked details about what really happened to him, so I improvised with the story that he was utterly destroyed by the Ex-Box (referred to in this setting as Es'Kailieon's Cube), however that's the outside perspective, inside he was utterly banished from the Multiverse, which could explain easily how Nightmare was able to absorb his essence in that reality.
However inside Es'Kailieon's Cube he remained trapped, until much later that this new reality came into contact with his essence inside the Cube, he probed for ways to enter this reality but couldn't find such a way, it was a reality without a connection to him, he couldn't exist in it.. at least.. not as himself. Through use of the one of the Lost Children a door was opened, a vessel was made, something capable of communing with him and giving him agency in a new destiny, he was incarnated into the second half of the Heart of Dark Legacy, a virtually perfect name for his future, and although he did escape the Cube, he is not altogether exactly what he was, part of that could be due to his disconnection from the Multiverse, his last exchange with Nightmare, existence in this new reality, possibly all of the above, etc.
As for a Saurian type character I'm sure we could accommodate whatever needs you have for it, in this setting all dragons originally came from the world of Aval, it's their homeworld, however their first crossing over into Aaru was in the primordial times, as such they've integrated quite thoroughly into the native culture and developed new cultures entirely independent of their homelands, if your idea finds a common ground with D4's Imperium culture I'm sure something can be arranged. Most saurians on Aaru fall under the Beastmen Empire where their long time leader established his rule around 7,000 years ago when the mega Empire of Bolas broke up that use to encompass the Ordo Imperium and the Beastmen Empire. However, there are a fair number of more direct saurian kind that don't fall under that rule, lots of free agents and several groups of dragons and dragonkin that subscribe to either personal ideals or fall in with other factions like the Eastern Kingdoms, Tel'Chak The God of Monsters, The Nightmare Dragons, etc.
Also no worries on time, honestly that's the way we prefer it, good stories are better given time and development. I don't like the feeling of things being rushed, I know if I don't get around to anything here for a week it's not gonna fall apart.

Sounds good to me. Well, here's a little about the Saurians that I made up for them: Saurians are an advanced race of Dromaeosaurs from the family Magisauridae. They are endothermic (warm-blooded) with a high metabolism. They have fine feathers for hair, which can range in a multitude of colors from violet to red. They are a pretty tall race compared to Humans, however, they are light-weight compared to their size, given their bones are quite hollow, yet very strong. They range from 7'6"-9'6" tall, with average height around 8'6". They can weigh anywhere from 200-350 lbs. They have the traditional claw on their toe from their ancestors, and have very stereoscopic vision, just like their forebearers of old. They also have short tails and long snouts like their ancestors, with a large cranium for their advanced brain. Some are force-sensitives (i.e. they are able to harness mana and use it in various ways), and are one of the most prolific races when it comes to being able to harness mana in such a way. They are also traditionally known to be very cosmopolitan, intelligent, and progressive in their society. Of the sapient races of lore, they are some of the most open-minded and welcoming to outsiders of different cultures, and have adapted many various cultures and ideas into their communities. They are also very technologically savvy.
