It is the 3rd millennium since the reign of Persephone Eosopoulou. For more than 3700 years the Basileia Rhomaion has stood, ruled from first Rome, then from Constantinople and finally from Alexandria. The Basilissa is the sovereign of vast territories and populations by the will of the Celestials and the might of her disciplined armies.
Mighty fleets cross the seas and the skies and imposing armies give battle in her name in far off lands. Greatest among her soldiers are the Heliades, elite holy warriors trained for a lifetime of war. Their comrades in arms are many: the Adrasteian Legionaries from the Themata, the Brotherhoods of the Spartans and the Sisterhoods of the Amazons to name only a few. But for all their prowess, they are barely enough to defend the Empire from the Abrahamics, inhuman monsters and the accursed followers of Oblivionism.
To live in this long twilight is it is to live in a collapsing, warring world. These are the tales of Age of Dusk. Forget the hope of peace and prosperity for this is a time of suffering. There is no peace amongst mankind, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of the Elder Gods.
